It's about a 40 minutes' drive by car from Aguadilla airport to Casa Aramelle. Day or night, it's quite an easy drive. For best car rental deals, we suggest you check Hotwire, Sidestep, or Kayak. (There are a couple of local rent a car companies, but we haven't found any price advantage.)

You have the most flexibility and choice of airlines and flight times if you fly into San Juan (SJU), then either drive to Rincón (where Casa Aramelle is located) or fly Cape Air from San Juan to Mayagüez (MAZ).(about a 30-minute flight). The drive by car from San Juan to Rincón takes about three hours. The Mayagüez airport is twenty minutes from Casa Aramelle.

There are sometimes (not often) direct flights between the United Kingdom and Aguadilla. Click here to begin your research. Coming from the UK or Europe you'll most likely have to come via the USA (New York or Miami), or via Madrid to San Juan.

To get your set of keys to Casa Aramelle, go to the Island West Properties office on Route 413. If you arrive in Rincon "after hours", there is a lock-box at the Island West office where you pick up the key. Please call them 787-823-6023 or contact them by email to confirm arrangements.

As an alternative to going to the Island West offices, an Island West Properties staff member may be able to meet you at Casa Aramelle to let you in, show you around, and give you the keys. You must set this up beforehand with Island West Properties. This may appeal to you if your flight arrives very late or very early at the Aguadilla airport. Please make sure you re-confirm this arrangement, or any other arrangements you make with Island West, so there are no unwanted surprises for you.

If you wish, Island West can also make sure you have some basic food supplies laid in, to tide you over until you can go food shopping.
