We recommend you take the northern route. Leave airport, take Route 26 west to Route 22 (Caguas, Bayamon) which becomes Route 2. Follow Route 2 along the north coast, on through Aguadilla.

Driving down Route 2 you'll see several road signs saying RINCÓN . Ignore the first few of these signs, and keep driving south on Route 2.

About 11 miles past Aguadilla on Route 2, at the bottom of a long, long hill, there's a sign saying CARICOL, and a MACDONALDS restaurant, and a TEXACO gas station, and some other stores. This is the intersection of Route 402. (Last I checked there was no sign saying Rincón.)

Turn right at this intersection, heading toward CARICOL.

Soon, on Route 402, you will see a sign saying RINCÓN. Route 402 will merge with Route 115.

Drive on....

Pass the sports stadium on your left, the BURGER KING and CHURCH'S CHICKEN on your right, the Texaco station on your left, the RINCÓN SHOPPING PLAZA on your right, ECONO food store on your left, and you arrive in the town of Rincon.

Drive right through town, passing the town plaza and the Catholic church on your left. The street takes a sharp left around the north corner of the church, you go past the Exxon station and the municipal police substation, and then 50 yards later...

take a left onto Route 413.

Go a little less than a mile west of Rincón on Route 413. You'll pass a bougainvillea hedge and a huge tree on your right, and then the sign ISLAND WEST PROPERTIES comes right up next on your right!

** Note: Expect traffic tie-ups in San Juan if you leave the airport during rush hours (4pm-7pm).
