His work hangs in private and institutional collections.

Born in New York City, Nicholas Wolfson has traveled and explored in more than 40 countries, and has been all over many of the world's cultures and languages. He served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in West Africa, and studied the work of Dogon, Bambara, Moorish and Berber craftsmen. He has been a farm worker and a merchant seaman. He served as an interpreter for the U.S. Department of State, worked on the staff of a United States Senator, and has managed businesses in the United States and in England. He resides and paints in New York City, and serves as a Senior Consultant with several major organizational-consulting firms. As a management consultant he helps leaders to challenge their perceived limitations, take risks, embrace change and to perform at their peak effectiveness.

Education: Collegiate School (New York City), Putney School (Putney, Vermont), Columbia College of Columbia University (New York City). Studied drawing with the Master Dave Passalacqua in New York and Orlando, Florida.
